About 25 of us gathered for a 3 mile walk, pot luck, lunch, and white elephant gift exchange at Shawnee Mission Park, Shelter 8 at 9:30a.m. on Saturday, May 14. Event T-shirts were distributed to registrants. We all looked terrific. Bob & Sharon Schoonover were event organizers. Bob mapped out a terrific beautiful route through rural areas of the park. It was cool and it was windy, but in spite of the weather we had a fun time and raised more than $1500 for vasculitis research.
